Freddie first started his recruiting career with a large recruiting agency, Aerotek, where he specialized in recruiting for Marketing, Sales, and Finance roles across various industries. Transitioning to in-house recruiting, Freddie specialized in hiring software engineers for Riot Games, the makers of the largest video game in the world, League of Legends. There he made key individual and leadership hires within the engineering organization. Knowing his work from Riot, Freddie was brought in by Bird engineering leadership with the challenge of supporting this hyper-growth “unicorn” by placing top-tier software and vehicle engineering talent. As a Sr. Technical Recruiter and then the Technical Recruiting Manager he and his team helped scale Bird from 30 engineers to almost 200.
Taking his experiences across the agency, large scale companies, and a hyper-growth start-up, Freddie co-founded TenX Recruiting with the goal to look at Talent Acquisition more holistically and focus on both Recruiting – the people – and Recruiting Operations – the process.
